Indo Count Industries Records Historic Quarterly Revenue of Rs. 1000cr

Indo Count Industries Limited, the largest global provider of comprehensive bed linen solutions, announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended September 30th, 2023. The company recorded a remarkable milestone by achieving a quarterly revenue of Rs. 1000cr for the first time in its history.

Mr. Anil Kumar-Jain, Executive Chairman, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s robust performance, emphasizing that it highlights its distinct strategic vision and enduring capabilities. He also credited their steadfast commitment to sustainable initiatives and community engagement as pivotal factors driving their growth as a leading exporter.

In terms of business segments, Indo Count Industries revealed its strategic move towards B2C, B2B, and D2C, aiming for better margins and value propositions. The GAIAM home collection has gained traction in retail stores across the USA, while the e-commerce sector continues to perform well. The company’s domestic brands, Boutique Living and Layers, have also received a positive response.

Indo Count Industries has been recognized for its achievements and commitment to corporate social responsibility. The CIL Foundation, the company’s CSR arm, was conferred the “Best CSR in Healthcare” award by ASSOCHAM. Additionally, their brand Boutique Living was recognized as the “E-Retail Brand of the Year 2023” at the ET Retail E-commerce and Digital Natives Awards (DNA) 2023.

The company has made substantial investments in sustainability initiatives, including a Rs. 50 crore capex in a Solar Power Generation Project in Gujarat. They actively engage in the development of BCI, Organic, and ELS cotton, promoting Kasturi cotton to enhance the brand value of Indian cotton. Indo Count Industries has also collaborated with Partech Seeds for research on various cotton seed varieties, aiming to help farmers achieve better yields. Furthermore, a strategic partnership with EY has been established for various sustainability initiatives.

The company has implemented wastewater treatment measures to reduce freshwater consumption consistently and has obtained the ZDHC Progressive Level Certification, showcasing its best chemical management practices and global benchmark.
