Hike in input prices shoots garment production cost by 30%

Garment exporters in Tirupur said that the cost of producing garments has risen by 30 percent since December 2019 due to soaring raw material costs. They were obliged to transport the items through air cargo rather than shipping since they needed to get the merchandise to the purchasers on time. The clothing industry has two primary seasons: summer (September to March) and winter (April to August).
