Industrial mill visit is one the important element of professional education especially for engineering education. So that Shri Vaishnav Institute of Textile Technology of Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya regularly organise industrial mill visit for their students. In the month of October 2019 ,SVITT organised four Industrial mill visits for their students.
WEAR IT GLOBAL LIMITED,Kasarwad,Dist-Khargone ( M.P.)-This visit was organised for third year B.Tech Textile students. Two faculty member Prof. Shyam Burhanpurkar and Prof.Kuldeep Ghorapade and students had visited that company on 12.10.2019 (Saturday).Students observed spinning process & the mixing of melange polyester yarns keenly and asked different queries to the company officials to clarify their doubts. Mr.Shantanu De, Unit Head, Wearit Global, encouraged the students & explained the entire technical process.

MAHESHWARI CREATIONS, Kasarwad,Dist-Khargone( M.P.)-SVITT had also organised visit of third year B.Tech Students at Maheshwari Creations, handloom units to see the working of handlooms to improve the knowledge & ability about this art form of weaving. Two faculty members Prof. Shyam Burhanpurkar and Prof.Kuldeep Ghorapade & students had visited Maheshwari Creations on same day 12.10.2019 (Saturday).

GABA APPARELS, Indore (MP)-SVITT, SVVV organized Industrial mill visit for 2nd year students of B.Sc Fashion Designing at Gaba Apparels Pologround Industrial area Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Two faculty members Prof. Yogita Agrawal , Prof. Kuldeep Ghorapade had visited the company on 16.10.2019. Mr.Nition Khabiya and Mr.Piyush Pathak and his team explained the entire process of Garment making to students & encouraged them .

LION FABRICS PRIVATE LIMITED,Sehore (MP)-SVITT, SVVV organized Industrial mill visit for 4th year students of B. Tech Textile Engineering at Lion Fabrics Private Ltd, Pilukhedi,Sehore, Madhya Pradesh. Two faculty members Prof. Ajay S. Joshi, Prof. Sushanta Naik and one technical staff member Mr. Rajkumar Sharma had visited the company on 19.10.2019.
During that visit, Students observed working of ball warping machine, rope dyeing machine, sizing machine, weaving and dyeing process of denim fabric with sulphur and indigo dye. Students have seen the working of dyeing and finishing machines and also learnt about the value addition of denim fabric. Mr.Mukesh Verma, Unit Head , and his team explained the entire process of Denim Fabric to students & encouraged them .
