Among the various industries that contribute to pollution, the textile industry has a greater negative effect on the land, air, and water, destroying the biosphere. The textile manufacturing and selling company Chandra Fabrics, which predominantly uses recycled yarn in clothing and supports sustainable industrial practises, is breaking the dangerous loop. At the recently held Emerging Businesses Awards 2023, the company’s environmental efforts were recognised, and its environmental consciousness won the award for “Most Innovative Products by Emerging Enterprise.”

Chandra Fabrics, a company that was established in 1995, is dedicated to broadening the range of textile items it offers to customers. By embracing new industrial advances, the company hopes to lead the textile industry through extensive research and market analysis.

Leveraging Technology

One billion kilogrammes of yarn are produced annually by the textile industry, which also contributes to wet processing and is responsible for almost 70% of all pollution in the nation. Given the serious issue, Chandra Fabrics supports the use of digital manufacturing techniques to create cutting-edge goods and push the use of traditional production methods. The business is adamant about investing in R&D and promoting a culture of innovation and continual progress.

Ankur Jain, Director of Chandra Fabrics, echoed the technological advancements when he said, “By resourcing technology we are exploring new materials, modern techniques, & designs that are generating revenues & responsibly redefining a system to control pollution.”

He emphasised that the company had effectively reduced waste with greener solutions by utilising innovative manufacturing techniques and obtaining materials that were friendly to the environment.

Manufacturing Plans

Jain added, “We are looking forward to expanding our manufacturing capacity by optimising production processes and implementing automation to increase our production,” in an interview with BW Businessworld. This is an effort to ensure that the rising demands of consumers around the world are met.

He emphasised that the business is diligently working towards its goal of expanding into new geographic areas and nations by promoting personalised products and designs.
