H&M revealed a new collaboration with streetwear star Kangol, featuring the BRIT Awards Best British Female Solo Artist and international music artist, Mabel, as co-collaborator. Inspired by the Mabel style, the 31-piece range features both classic and new Kangol pieces, including two co-designed by Mabel herself.

Kangol is an iconic streetwear company which is widely remembered for its kangaroo logo. An English brand established in the 1920s, Kangol’s hats have been an integral part of the look emerging from the hip-hop movement of the 80s and 90s.

For consumers of the self-made generation like Mabel, the collection captures the ideal Kangol wardrobe of new, authentic and fun. It has hooded puffer jackets, long puffers, slouchy cardigans and sweaters knitted with the branding and logo of Kangol for the autumn collection.

It also includes essential pieces, like cropped rollneck sweaters in either cream or colour stripes, oversized logo tees and a logo long-sleeve stretch midi-dress. Mabel herself co-created two pieces: a streetwear take on the slip dress, complete with Kangol logos, and a pair of joggers marked with Kangol.

There’s a full set of accessories, like the world-famous Kangol bucket hat, beanies and a beanie pompom. There’s a boxy cross-body bag with the branded strap, a shopper and a bum-bag, as well as bag charms. Socks and scrunchies also with the Kangol logo.
