The Ministry of Textiles is organizing a webinar in order to give a wider publicity and spread proper understanding and awareness of the changes in the labour laws among the user industry, on Wednesday, 21.10.
A presentation in this regard will be made by Joint Secretary, Department of Labour, Government of India.
Hon’ble Union Minister of Textiles, Smt Smriti Zubin Irani and Secretary, Textiles, Shri Ravi Capoor, IAS will grace the meeting.

Government has brought recently many changes in labour laws for its reform. Therefore, it is essentials to given wide publicity and spread proper understanding and awareness of it among the user industry. Consequently, it has been decided to hold a virtual Webex meeting on 21.10.2020 at 3:00PM.
Hon’ble MoT and Secretary Textile will grace the meeting.
All councils are, therefore, requested to invite all leading textiles manufacturers to join the meeting. Each council is requested to invite at least 15 leading manufacturers. A list of members who will attend the meeting will be provided by 5:00PM on 20.10.2020 positively.
