Distinguished guests, friends, and family members, I am very delighted and thankful to all of you for coming here to bid me a loving farewell and for making it one of the most memorable days of my life.
It has been my privilege to be associated with you, my industry colleagues, through this prestigious platform of TMMA in various capacities in the last one decade.
With your guidance and support, I have had my fair share of successes through every thick and thin during this tenure that culminated as the Chairman TMMA on 18 th November 2021.
It was a big responsibility for me to don while looking at the endeavors of our industry elders who led and guided the association in the past and made it one of the most sought-after industry associations by the Central and the State Governments in their policy formulation and industry outreach programs.
As I can see, TMMA(I) has come a long way since its inception in 1958; it has entered into its 65 th Anniversary Year. It has been able to successfully synergize with both our parent ministry (Ministry of Heavy Industry – MHI) and user industry ministry (Ministry of Textiles – MOT), by taking lead position in ‘Promoting the Ideas and Addressing the Challenges’ of the textile engineering industry in India.
I am quite optimistic that under the able leadership of our young chairman Mr. Pratik Bachkaniwala, office bearers and council members, the association shall achieve bigger milestones in the years to come.
Here, I once again would like to thank my co-office bearers, Mr.Pratik R. Bachkaniwala, Mr. Prashant Mangukia, and Mr. Shailesh Wani without whose active assistance, I would not have been able to discharge my duties. I thank my colleagues on the Executive Council for their support. I thank the members of the Association for giving me this opportunity to serve the industry as the Chairman.
I congratulate Mr. Pratik Bachkaniwala, the current Chairman and his co-Office Bearers, Mr. M. Shankar, Mr. Prashant Mangukia and Mr. Shailesh Wani and wish them a successfultenure.
I would like to sincerely thank the past chairmen of TMMA for all their help and guidance – in particular; Mr. Mehul Trivedi, Mr. R.Rajendran, Mr. Prakash Bhagwati, Mr. Rajnikant Bachkaniwala, and others who helped me during my tenure.
I would also like to thank the ITAMMA, India ITME Society for their unstinted support in the activities of TMMA.
In conclusion, I appreciate the excellent work rendered by the Secretariat of TMMA led by our Executive Director – Mr. Sachin Kumar.
Thank you all once again.
