Pratibha Syntex’s sustainability goals for 2020 are reducing freshwater consumption by half, cutting energy use by a fifth, lessening greenhouse gases emission by 30 per cent, zero discharge of hazardous chemicals, 100 per cent use of sustainable materials and reducing hazardous waste by 40 per cent, according to chief executive officer AshwaniPalaha.
The Indore-based company, which recently won Woolworths’ ‘Supplier Excellence Award’ for ‘Supplier of the Year Sustainability 2019’, is establishing traceability through blockchain by partnering with Infinichains, Palaha.
