The Pakistan Yarn Merchants Association (PYMA) has called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to follow the lead of the federal government and other provinces and set the minimum wage in Sindh at Rs20,000.
FPCCI said the Sindh government’s decision to set a minimum wage of Rs25,000 would affect those businesses and industries who do their business in Sindh the most. They pointed out that it was by no means applicable due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the severe economic crisis. The FPCCI also urged the Sindh Government to implement a minimum pay of Rs20,000.
