Shima Seiki USA, a subsidiary of Shima Seiki Mfg., Ltd. of Wakayama, Japan, will exhibit at the Techtextil North America 2021 exhibition, which will be held at the Raleigh Convention Center in Raleigh, North Carolina from August 23-25, 2021. (booth no.1701).
Shima USA will display the most recent home goods and furnishings product examples, as well as various industry samples such as fashion, medical, and automotive. Shima Seiki has launched three new web services in the last year, all of which will be showcased at TTNA Raleigh: APEXFiz’s subscription-based design software; yarnbank’s digital yarn sourcing online service; and SHIMANAVI’s e-learning service.
Shima Seiki has introduced APEXfiz, its new APEXFiz design programme, as a subscription-based design software that can be installed on individual PCs of customers. From planning and design to colorway assessment, realistic fabric modelling, and 3D virtual sample, the programme helps the creative side of fashion. It is also available in five distinct product versions that may be tailored to various work styles and company contexts, such as teleworking and telecommuting.
Yarnbank is the world’s first online web service for finding and browsing new yarns. On APEXFiz, registered users may obtain yarn data for free to use in fabric simulation and virtual sampling. Designers and clothing firms may rest easy knowing that the simulations generated with yarn from yarnbank are realistic approximations of what will actually be produced.
Finally, the SHIMANAVI e-learning service enables APEXFiz users to participate in online training when and when it is convenient for them, at their own speed, therefore enabling changing work patterns. SHIMANAVI offers a variety of courses in a variety of languages to meet the demands of unique consumers.
