Since the beginning of 2021, Batly Gadam Individual Enterprise, based in the city of Balkanabat in Turkmenistan’s Balkan velayat, has sold 1,753 tonnes of cotton yarn to countries such as Turkey, Russia, Iran, and Poland, according to Turkmenistan’s state media.

A portion of the yarn is used as raw material in the company’s workshop for the production of socks in addition to export. To achieve this, the yarn is first dyed in various colours in the dyeing workshop. The dyeing workshop can dye up to 5 tonnes of yarn in a single day.

This year, the company manufactured approximately 12.4 million pairs of socks, primarily for the local market. Batly Gadam’s high-quality cotton yarns and socks fulfil ISO worldwide environmental requirements.
