More relaxations for Surat textile markets

Restrictions were imposed on the functioning of the textile sectors last month as Surat witnessed a sharp increase in Covid-19 cases over the past few weeks.
From 3rd August, Textile markets have been allowed to remain open from 10 am to 6 pm from Monday and Saturday, while they had to follow an odd-even shop number formula with timings set from 10 am to 5 pm all through July, a Federation of Surat Textile Traders Association.
