According to a regulatory statement by the business, Aditya Birla Group flagship enterprise Grasim Industries Ltd has nominated Hari Krishna Agarwal as its Managing Director with effect from December 1, 2021, following incumbent Dilip Gaur’s desire for early retirement. Gaur’s proposal for an early retirement was approved by the company’s board of directors during its meeting on September 1, 2021.
As a result, “Gaur will cease to be Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel as well as Member of the Company’s Board of Directors with effect from the close of business hours on November 30, 2021,” according to the filing.
Aditya Birla Group (ABG) said its board has approved the appointment of Ashwathraj Agarwal as Managing Director and Key Managerial Personnel for a period of two years with effect from December 1, 2021 to November 30, 2023 subject to approval of shareholders. Earlier in February this year, the board had approved reappointment of Aditya Gaur as MD.
