Gartex Texprocess India organisers announce a strategic partnership with the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry for the hybrid edition

Messe Frankfurt India and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd have partnered with the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI) to launch the first hybrid edition of Gartex Texprocess India, which has been rescheduled for December 2021.
Tomorrow marks the start of the Gartex Texprocess India Digital Symposium series (16 July) A series of digital symposiums will be held to keep the participants in the garment and textile manufacturing segments engaged. The Confederation of Indian Textile Industry has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Messe Frankfurt India and MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, the organisers of India’s major textile and garment machines and accessories exhibitions.
Gartex Texprocess India will now take place from the 3rd to the 5th of December 2021, rather than the initial date of August 2021. The organisers want to increase participation and product presentations on the Gartex exhibition floors. The organisers believe that expanding vaccine coverage and organising vaccination drives will assist to stabilise the socioeconomic situation and offer a healthy business environment.

Gartex Texprocess India will host the country’s first virtual and physical textile and apparel expo. The emphasis of the virtual exhibition will be on product presentations as well as exhibitor search. Both of these divisions will be powered by a “AI matchmaking tool,” which will allow visitors to interact with exhibitors based on their specific product requirements. Gartex, with the strategic assistance of CITI, intends to re-unite the whole textile sector and explore commercial prospects that would allow the industry to recover and develop more quickly.
