The Australian Cotton Shippers Association has announced the launch of their market diversification initiative, ‘Taking Australian Cotton to the World.’
The initiative will help exporters increase Australia’s market share in established export destinations while also expanding commerce into new and growing regions.
The market diversification initiative will concentrate on making Australian cotton the fibre of choice for importers worldwide, developing long-term partnerships with customers in important countries, and increasing the price premium for Australian cotton. Grant funding was obtained in collaboration with Cotton Australia as part of the Commonwealth’s Agricultural Trade and Market Access Cooperation.
The Australian Government has awarded ACSA a million grant to assist its COVID-19 export diversification initiative. As a result of the funding, ACSA was able to hire Greg Noonan as an export marketing consultant. Mr. Noonan is an agricultural markets expert with more than 20 years of trading, marketing, and leadership experience in the cotton, grains, sugar, and financial services industries.
