Cobra Beer’s founder and chancellor of Birmingham University, Karan Bilimoria, is an independent member of parliament who sits in the House of Lords. As part of its trip of India, the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), which he co-chairs, stopped in Ahmedabad. He discussed the ongoing Free Trade Agreement with Leena Misra as well as the contribution of the Indian diaspora to improving ties between the UK and India.
