According to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam, an anti-dumping investigation into nylon filament yarn imported from China and Vietnam has been started by India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR).

Gujarat Polyfilms Private Limited, Oriilon India Private Limited, and Century Enka Private Limited are the three Indian businesses that are the complainants. The 15-month dumping inquiry period runs from April 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.

The complainants have not suggested using the product classification codes (PCN) as a foundation for price comparison, according to the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam. Within 15 days of the initiation date, or by no later than January 9, 2025, the DGTR has asked stakeholders to suggest and provide feedback on the product scope and categorization codes.
