New Delhi, India –The ASDC Partners’ Forum was successfully held by the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC) on July 12, 2024, at the Indian Habitat Center in New Delhi. Leaders in the industry, specialists, and interested parties gathered to talk about the future of the automobile industry at this important event. The theme for this year, “Collaborate, Empower, Accelerate, Achieve,” highlighted ASDC’s commitment to promoting empowerment and unity within the sector in order to achieve success as a whole.The important role that skill development plays in promoting industry success was highlighted by Dr. Neetu Bhagat, Deputy Director of AICTE; Dr. Suhas Deshmukh, Director of NCVET; and Dr. Rodney Reviere, Cluster Coordinator of GIZ India, who attended as guests of honor. The announcement that ASDC and BYD will be working together to start the annual BYD Innovate-a-thon competition was one of the forum’s highlights this year. Through the promotion of creativity, teamwork, innovation, sustainability, and excellence, this competition seeks to bring students from various academic backgrounds together in the Electric Vehicle Domain. BYD formally launched this effort at the ASDC Partners’ Forum with an MOU exchange and a presentation by Mr. Rajeev Chauhan and Ms. Shivani Chaudhary, who will represent BYD as spokespersons.
Every year, students from many disciplines in the Electric Vehicle Domain come together for the BYD and ASDC Innovate-a-thon, which promotes excellence, creativity, teamwork, and invention.
