SRTEPC (The Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council) is participating in the Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show (DIFS) Dhaka, Bangladesh which is a 4-day textiles exhibition being held from August 31 to September 3, 2022 .
16 Indian companies have participated in the exhibition through SRTEPC with the active support of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the High Commission of India , Dhaka, said Shri Dhiraj Raichand Shah, Chairman, SRTEPC.
DIFS is a Comprehensive Exhibition for Overseas Yarn, Fabric & Textile Manufacturers / Exporters focusing on the Textile & Apparel Industry of Bangladesh.
On 31.08.2022 , the first day of the exhibition , Shri Dhiraj Shah , Chairman , SRTEPC inaugurated the “India Pavilion” in the presence of the participating companies. Subsequently, the Chairman, SRTEPC jointly inaugurated the Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show with local Dignitaries of Bangladesh.
“Bangladesh is one of the growing markets for Manmade fibre textiles from India” , according to Shri Dhiraj Shah. The major Manmade fibre textiles that are being exported from India are Polyester Viscose Fabrics, Synthetic filament fabrics , Viscose blended fabrics , Polyester filament yarn, Viscose spun yarn , Blankets and Polyester staple fibre .
The Chairman, SRTEPC expressed his confidence that the Indian Companies participating in the exhibition would be able to establish good contacts with the buyers both from Bangladesh and other countries and will lead to generation of good export orders.
