The first U.P. International Trade Fair, which will take place in Greater Noida from September 21 to 25, has received participation commitments from around 400 participants from 66 different nations.
The majority of the nations and customers, according to a state government official, are from Europe.
“A total of 60 buyers from 15 different European countries have signed up for the international trade expo, indicating their participation. Additionally, 50 customers from each of six Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) nations, four South East Asian nations, and 11 countries from the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) area have confirmed their participation, the official added.
The international trade expo will also feature participation from 38 buyers from eight LAC countries, 41 buyers from 11 African countries, and 4 buyers from South Asian nations.
Additionally, there are 28 players from three NEA (North East Asia) nations, 18 from three NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) nations, and 3 from Oceania.
Participants from European nations including Bulgaria, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, the Republic of Moldova, and the United Kingdom have registered.
Algeria, Azerbaijan, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Belarus, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Dominican Republic, Egypt, Ethiopia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Indonesia, Iraq, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Oman, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Sri Lanka, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, UAE, US, Vietnam, and UAE are other nations that are likely to take part.
The goal of the international trade fair is to give entrepreneurs, inventors, manufacturers, and exporters from important industries including IT-ITES, MSMEs, and startups a global platform. International buyers will get the chance to learn more about Uttar Pradesh’s products and create a platform to elevate them on a global level. Entrepreneurs, innovators, manufacturers, and exporters from Uttar Pradesh will have the opportunity to promote and brand their goods internationally through this event, the spokesperson continued.
