The sustainable apparel company Outerknown and blockchain-based traceability platform Aware have partnered to launch Aware’s first traceable product, a men’s blanket shirt. In order to further demonstrate its dedication to sustainable development and ethical sourcing, Outerknown intends to include Aware’s technologies into upcoming collections.

One of Outerknown’s best-selling items, the blanket shirt is constructed of organic cotton and represents the company’s commitment to ethical labor standards and environmental stewardship.

Customers can view every step of the shirt’s production process, from the raw materials to the final product, thanks to Aware’s technology. The shirt’s traceable version is currently offered online and in Outerknown’s eight US retail locations.

“We’re thrilled to collaborate with Aware to make traceability a reality,” Outerknown CEO Dylan Slater stated. “We can give our customers complete transparency into the garment’s journey with the help of Aware’s technology, empowering them to make decisions that are consistent with their values.”
