Pratteln, Switzerland, July 9, 2024 – Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals towards sustainable solutions, is launching an innovative portable version of its market-leading Color Atlas by Archroma® color library to help optimize textile and fashion sector workflows with very convenient color comparison. Mini Flex, Mini Palette, and The Color Atlas by Archroma® editions all come with handy libraries of textile color samples.

A vital component of the job done by designers and their collaborators in textile mills and brands is color comparison. But it has always been difficult to get the ideal color harmony or match without easy access to color reference books from the library. Even the most compact versions of physical color libraries are too large to fit into a backpack or shoulder bag, making them clumsy and hefty.

The Color Atlas by Archroma® Mini Flex and Mini Palette versions provide the solution to these problems. Neither format requires a mask to segregate colors for comparison or selection, making it portable and easy to use.The Mini Flex model’s textile color chips make it simple for users to find and compare hues with their intended target color.

The Color Atlas by Archroma® Mini Flex & Mini Palette formats have 5,760 different colors: 1,440 colors for polyester and 4,320 colors for cotton. Furthermore, every color is available from Archroma as an Engineered Color Standard, complete with digital data for recipe forecasting, precise dyeing recipes manufactured with components that meet the strictest international eco-standards, and achievability statistics on various fiber types.

Our Color Atlas has helped to ensure color integrity, foster innovation, and enhance communication since its launch in 2016. “We continue to innovate to support brands, designers, and mills to work faster and smarter together, wherever they are,” said Chris Hipps, Global Director of Archroma Color Management, “as new ways of working digitally & physically along with the demand for speed reshape the fashion & textile industry.”
