Texvalley is hosting a three day TAG Expo in Erode from 28th-30th August. The expo is aimed at promoting the regionally produced goods to national and international traders and buyers. The Vice president of Texvalley, C Devarajan addressed the media on Tuesday. He said that the TAG (Textile Apparels Garments) Expowould feature over 400 brands which would be displaying their collections for the upcoming festive season.
He further added that the Expo would prove to be a hub for promoting Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Business (B2C) models. The expo would provide a platform for all, small, medium and large textile and apparel manufacturers and weavers from Tamil Nadu.
Mr Devarajan, said that the bookings for textile franchise, procurring the garments at reasonable rates all would be available under a single roof making the process easy for customers. This will not only save them a lot of time, but will also help them in reducing costs required for travelling various places.
D.P. Kumar, executive director, Texvalley said that the expo will also have fashion shows by many famous garment companies and big brand sto showcase their latest collections. He further added that an award show for felicitating brands would also be organised at the expo. The organisers are expecting to garner around RS 300 cr business from the Expo. The Retailers Association of India and the Confederation of Indian Industry are amongst the few organisations supporting the Expo.
