Odisha’s CM inaugurates Wild Lotus Fashions’ factory

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik virtually inaugurated the apparel manufacturing facility of Wild Lotus Fashions at Chhatabar in Khurda district.

This factory has been established at an investment of Rs. 20 crore and will generate potential employment opportunities for around 800 people.

Wild Lotus Fashions, a 100 per cent export compliant unit, is a part of MGM Group. It is spread over three acres of land.

MGM Group stated, “The Company will be providing pre-employment and post-employment free training facilities to upgrade the skills of the employees. The unit will have an installed capacity of 950 sewing machines.”

Pankaj Mohanty, Chairman, MGM Group, said “Initially the company will be supplying apparels for domestic giants like Reliance Trends, Shoppers Stop, etc. Going forward, it will start exporting to international brands and buyers.”

It is important to mention here that Wild Lotus Fashions is the third major garmenting project in Odisha after Shahi Exports and Aditya Birla.
