Hey readers! Welcome back to my blog. Hope you’re in a pink of good health. Well, today’s topic is something which a lot of you have recommended indirectly, yes it’s INDIRECT cuz it’s the consequence of the acne-free skin that I’m having right now. My friends keep asking me the HOWSS of it and so I thought of typing out on one of the main reasons that most of them tend to forget to look after.
And it’s none other than, “THE SKINCARE ROUTINE” at night. Now I’m sure boys must be thinking that I would be applying make up or something like that as it’s so hard for them to get the simple fact that the products DO NOT FALL UNDER THE CATEGORY OF MAKEUP COSMETICS AT ALL.
So, without wasting further time, let’s move into the main content. So we’ve almost been very conscious about the way we look irrespective of the race that we belong to. It’s one of the main aspects that we’re being judged on ( might sound offensive to some but it’s true), actually that was taught in my Personality Development class too! So, taking proper care of the skin, keeping it healthy and free from bacterias is very important you know. Otherwise they can make one lose their confidence while presenting themselves in-front of the world. And by now you must have known that being CONFIDENT is so important in defining your personality all in all.
I will be sharing 5 BASIC PRODUCTS that have ACTUALLY healed my acne and other problems that used to make it look dull from inside and it’s almost been a year now that I have been spending some time to look after my skin amidst the busy schedule.
1. ICE ( yes babies it’s the normal ice taken out directly from the freezer)
Ice is one of the most effective saviour for an acne free skin. It can soothe pimples, sunburns, and skin inflammation. It reduces redness and swelling and numbs the face. While massaging, these can brighten the complexion by boosting the circulation. Ice cubes can also prevent wrinkles by tightening the skin.METHOD: This is the first step of the routine. Wash hands first and splash water on your face. Take a coin-sizes amount of facewash.
Gently lather up in small circles over face and neck (neck is a part too yk). Be gentle around the eyes. Rinse, pat dry and follow (3).
2. CLEANSING FACEWASH
This Plum pore cleansing facewash contains anti-oxidant green tea and glycolic acid with a mild natural scrub. And unlike most of the toxic cleansers, it is free from paraben, phthalates, propylene goycol, sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), DEA, PABA and animal- derived ingredients.
METHOD: This is the first step of the routine. Wash hands first and splash water on your face. Take a coin-sizes amount of facewash. Gently lather up in small circles over face and neck (neck is a part too yk). Be gentle around the eyes. Rinse, pat dry and follow (3).
3. FACE MIST/ TONER
The natural plant extracts in this Plum face mist are rich in minerals, antioxidants, acne fighters and skin refreshing agents. It helps in keeping the skin hydrated and energised for a longer span.
METHOD: This is actually a lot-in-one thing which means it can be used in many purposes. But, in the night, just after applying the ice, spray 3-4 times all over the face and neck and let it dry on it’s own.
4. FACE SERUM
This face serum from L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Clinical serum has helped in the reduction of spots and detanning. The next morning skin looks fresh and active. The serum is light and fast absorbing.
METHOD: Press 2-3 drops from the dropper and gently apply all over the skin and let it dry on its own.
5. NIGHT GEL
This pillow- proof night gel from Plum is a must- have guys! I tried a lot of other brands but this is heavens! As I have an oily skin, I am prone to getting acne more than other skin types. But this gel doesn’t leave any chance of being sticky or heavy, nothing. It consists of Argan oil for balanced hydration, green tea as I said for acne combat, Goji berry and Gingko biloba which fights free radicals, Licorice for pigmentation and so on. And most importantly it doesn’t clog pores.
Try it for a week (if you start noticing some changes) or a month guys, until you’re satisfied. Trust me, it has helped me a ton.Let me know if you want more of skincare blogs. Do like, comment and share it w your friends who might actually need some guidance regarding this.
