Because to its unique blend of cut, comfort, performance, and materials, the Century Jacket stands out. Each fabric was carefully chosen for the piece, including the outside shell composed of Ventile®, a distinctive cotton weave first used to keep pilots dry and warm during World War II. Extra-long staple cotton yarn, developed in small amounts globally for Ventile, is made from organic, sustainably cultivated cotton. The fabric has a lovely handfeel and is exceptionally strong. Within, theThe lightweight HD® Wool insulation used in the Century Jacket is a natural, renewable material that promotes moisture management, breathability, and resistance to odours. The Century has the perfect amount of insulation for four seasons of wear—it’s neither too heavy nor too light. Last but not least, the liner is made of 100% pure silk, which offers unrivalled comfort and is both antibacterial and moisture wicking.
