A threeday textile exhibition “SITEX-2024” will commence in Surat

SURAT: Commencing on July 20, Surat will host the 10th edition of the Surat International Textile Expo, or “SITEX-2024”. The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI), in association with the Surat Texmac Federation and the Southern Gujarat Chamber Trade and Industries Development Center, is the organizer of this show. The Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center will host this event.

Mr. Vijay Mevawala, president of the SGCCI, stated, “We have had positive feedback from exhibitors in every area of the textile industry.” The expanding textile sector in Surat will directly benefit from the show. “SITEX-2024” will be a significant step towards a developed India by 2047, helping to create jobs and boost production on a big scale.

The focal points of this display will be the digital printing machine, waterjet, airjet, and mono spatting machines. The expo will feature unique digital printing equipment capable of producing 6,000 meters of cloth in a single day.

At the SITEX show, there will also be an Airjet machine with a 1600 RPM speed and a mono mother yarn split warping machine valued at Rs 1.20 crore. It is anticipated that the show will bring in over 400 crores in revenue.
