Why is it important to take certification? Why do companies do certification?

In the certification program, multiple certifications such as the GOTS program and recycle program are undertaken. Making claims about products from a consumer perspective, helps them understand the essence of organic products, like in the case of the GOTS label indicating an organic program. Similarly, labels like recycle programs with certifications like GRS, RCS, and ocean-bound plastic, create consumer awareness about the products being consumed, such as garments made from recycled fabric worn by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This awareness is crucial for sustainability efforts in various industries, as consumer awareness and support play a significant role in environmental sustainability initiatives. Therefore, having different certifications and raising awareness is essential for consumers to contribute to environmental sustainability efforts.
