On March 30, 2025, Shri Shaleen Toshniwal officially took over as the new Chairman of the Manmade and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council (MATEXIL), succeeding Shri Bhadresh Dodhia.

MATEXIL is dedicated to promoting the export of manmade fiber textiles — including fiber, yarn, fabric, home textiles, made-ups, and technical textiles.

Currently Joint Managing Director at Banswara Syntex Ltd., Shri Toshniwal brings over 23 years of extensive experience in the textile and apparel sector. He manages the company’s exports of yarn, fabrics, and garments, while also handling HR and overall operations. His deep knowledge in dyed synthetic spinning, woven and knit fabric production, and garment manufacturing has driven innovation at Banswara.

Notably, he also launched a Direct-to-Consumer fashion brand “One Mlle” in 2023. A management graduate from Bentley College, USA, Shri Toshniwal’s leadership is expected to steer MATEXIL toward a stronger global footprint.

Outgoing Chairman Shri Bhadresh Dodhia commented, “With his deep industry insights and dynamic vision, Shri Shaleen Toshniwal will certainly help expand exports across the MMF and technical textiles value chain.”
