Recent arrivals at Delhi International Airport (DIAL) include the initial transshipment shipment from Bangladesh bound for Spain. This comes after Delhi Airport was given permission by the Indian government to use DIAL, a division of GMR Airports Infrastructure (GIL), as a transshipment hub for export cargo between Bangladesh and other international locations.increased demand for Indian raw materials there, according to sources in Indian media.
DIAL has developed a specific truck docking facility and a designated X-ray area for the quick transfer of cargo to their departure sites in order to assure convenience of doing business. The Benapole-Petrapol crossings will be used to transport merchandise from Bangladesh to Delhi.

The choice will drastically lower shipping costs for Bangladeshi manufacturers and increase everyday international cargo exports via New Delhi of goods including ready-to-wear clothing, handloom products, footwear, leather goods, jute goods, and pharmaceuticals. An increase in exports will result in a reduction in the amount of raw materials Bangladeshi manufacturers must purchase from India, including threads, textiles, jute, and leather.
