GenX PV India, a leader in the production of split junction boxes with integrated diodes, has declared that it will open a fully integrated aluminum frame manufacturing plant in Raipur by the beginning of next year. By producing 18,000 metric tons of aluminum a year, the plant will be able to supply Indian solar panel makers and lessen its dependency on Chinese imports. This plant will offer complete solutions, such as cutting, anodizing, and extrusion, improving GenX PV’s capacity for internal aluminum frame production.
The news was made concurrently with the company’s attendance at the Renewable Energy India Expo 2024, which will take place from October 3–5, in Hall 12 of the India Expo Center in Greater Noida, Booth No. R883. The Raipur site will aid GENX PV in maintaining its standing as a comprehensive supplier of solar panel materials, in addition to the junction box’s backward integration. By FY25, the company wants to expand its junction box manufacturing capacity in Bangalore from 20 GW to 50 GW.
Furthermore, GenX PV forecasts a stunning revenue increase from INR 200 crores in FY24 to INR 900 crores in FY25.
