The largest international exhibition for textile and apparel technologies is scheduled to take place there: The renowned ITMA exhibition gathers a large international audience to showcase the most recent advancements along the whole textile industry value chain. The ITMA received more than 100,000 visitors from 136 countries for its most recent exhibition in 2019, many of whom were important decision-makers and influencers for their organisations, according to the expo’s organisers.

Emtec Electronic will exhibit both its most current innovation and the tried-and-true TSA Tactile Sensation Analyzer in Hall 4 at booth No. D313. The next-generation softness measuring equipment has new features and a new design that are specifically tailored to the requirements of the textile and nonwovens sector. The well-known TSA already provides a distinctive technique to measuring softness by replicating the human hand’s sensory capabilities through sound analysis. In comparison to conventional hand-panel testing methods, haptic factors like as softness, smoothness, flexibility, deformation, and springback behaviour may be objectively assessed and the results can be digitalized in as little as 90 seconds on average. The Tissue Softness Analyzer (TSA), which was first used in the tissue paper industry, is now a recognised global industry standard for haptic measurement. Technical Information Paper (TIP) 0808-07 (2021) from the Technical Association of the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI) details its measuring principles and practical application. We’ve been able to keep innovating thanks to our experience assessing the haptic quality of tissue and hygiene paper. emtec Electronic’s global marketing and business development manager, Alexander Gruener, said the company will grow to meet the needs of the textile and nonwovens industries. “There is a huge demand to swiftly and accurately replicate specific haptic aspects that consumers appreciate in clothing, in particular. In order to give optimal comfort, the TSA offers a straightforward solution.
