FESPA has announced the launch of its brand-new SmartHub feature at the upcoming Personalisation Experience 2025, scheduled for 6–9 May 2025 at Messe Berlin, Germany. Designed to deepen industry knowledge, SmartHub includes a mix of expert-led conference sessions and an interactive Smart Factory Trail.

The SmartHub aims to showcase how digital production and intelligent technologies can improve efficiency, reduce waste, and drive customisation. Through the FESPA app and exhibition QR codes, visitors can follow the Smart Factory Trail and explore exhibitors offering cutting-edge personalisation and manufacturing tech.

The SmartHub Conference, held from 6–8 May in Hall 5.2 (Stand A55), is free to attend and will be moderated by Frank Tueckmantel. Sessions cover real-world applications of AI in mass customisation, data-driven marketing (featuring RSPCA’s success story), and innovations in on-demand digital printing for packaging.

Additionally, engaging panel discussions will examine B2B print-on-demand, automation in textile production, and how streamlined manufacturing practices can lead to profitability and sustainability.

FESPA’s Duncan MacOwan expressed excitement about making this resource more accessible, highlighting the extended conference duration and free entry as part of efforts to deliver high-value education to a broader audience.

Visitors to the Personalisation Experience 2025 will also have access to the co-located FESPA Global Print Expo and European Sign Expo, offering even more opportunities to discover innovations across print, signage, and visual communications.
