Kitex Invests Rs.3,000 Cr In TS

Due to the prompt reaction from the State government, Kerala-based textile producer Kitex Group, which had originally intended to invest Rs 1,000 crore, has now declared a total investment of Rs 3,000 crore in Telangana. According to Kitex Group Chairman and Managing Director Sabu Jacob during the CII Annual Session, it will create 28,000 jobs, with 80% of them going to local women. The business is setting manufacturing units at Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal and at Sita Rampur. The company left Kerala, its native state, two years ago, and Over the course of that time, it raised its investment in Telangana from Rs 1,000 crore to Rs 3,000 crore. The State-based company’s facilities might send 2.5 million infant clothing items to the US. The Telangana government made a spectacular step by sending a private aircraft to Kerala to transport the senior management and give them a site at the Kakatiya Mega Textiles Park in Warangal. This was done despite various State governments competing to outsmart one another in luring the corporate management. The winners of the “Industries Awards 2022” were revealed by the Telangana government and GlobalLinker on Tuesday during the CII Annual Conference on Beyond India@75. Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao honoured the 28 recipients.
