Mariano Amezcua Is The New President Of KARL MAYER Group

KARL MAYER North America has appointed industry veteran Mariano Amezcua to the position of President. In this capacity, he will be responsible for the overall business operations and strategic initiatives of the KARL MAYER GROUP’s American subsidiary.

Mariano Amezcua brings a strong background in the textile industry to KARL MAYER North America. He is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in industrial automation and software application sales and professional services. His primary focus has been on the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies for Cut & Sew Operations in the automotive, furniture, technical textiles, and fashion industries. Mariano Amezcua was previously the President and CEO of DAP America, Inc.

He graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the United States Army. During Operation Desert Storm, I served as a Platoon Leader with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Mariano Amezcua went on to direct Sales and Service teams for companies like PTC, Varian, Danaher, and Lectra after serving in the military. He also has an MBA in Technology Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. “The KARL MAYER North America team is exceptionally talented and driven to deliver advanced technologies that provide superior performance for our customers,” Mariano Amezcua says. “I am excited to contribute to the company’s continued growth and success.”Tony Hooimeijer, Mariano’s predecessor, will retire on March 1, 2023 after leading KARL MAYER North America for nearly two decades.
