The National Technical Textiles Mission Program has provided instructions for updating the existing conventional degree programmes with new technical textiles papers (NTTM). A full course in technical textiles can be introduced with financial support of up to Rs 20 crore for graduate programmes and Rs 10 crore for undergraduate programmes. A grant of up to Rs 7.5 crore may be provided for the introduction of one required subject and a few options at the UG level by the ministry. .
