30 Countries Are Expected To Participate In Technotex 2023

The government announced on Friday that it expects more than 250 purchasers from more than 30 nations, including Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Guinea (South Africa), South Korea, Russia, and Luxembourg, to attend the technical textiles show known as “Technotex 2023.”

The exhibition, which will take place in Mumbai from February 22 to 24, will centre on the idea of “Envisioning Indian Technological Textiles@ 2047.”

Rajiv Saxena, Joint Secretary in the Textiles Ministry, told reporters, “We are anticipating more than 250 customers from more than 30 nations.”

He stated that in addition to CEO Forum, which will be presided over by Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal on February 24, the three-day event would include B2B (business-to-business) meetings, conferences, and seminars.

According to Saxena, deals will likely be reached to produce technical textiles in India. Dignitaries from many different nations and state governments are present. Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh are the event’s partner states, with Maharashtra serving as the host state. The ministry reported that buyers and exhibitors for technical textiles from more than 30 nations, including Taiwan, Germany, Switzerland, Guinea (South Africa), South Korea, Russia, and Luxembourg, will attend the show.

The Textile Ministry emphasised the importance of Technotex 2023 by stating that it will assist in demonstrating the enormous potential for trade and investment between India and other nations in the technical textile sector.

The event will be a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our international connections in the global technical textiles business, it was said, especially now that India is the G-20 Presidency. The Ministry of Textiles is optimisticthe ministry expressed its hope that the concentrated discussions, information exchange, and business connections at Technotex 2023 would result in workable initiatives that would be crucial in advancing India’s technical textile industry.
