Vipul Organics, a renowned specialty chemicals company specializing in pigments and dyes for the textile industry, has proudly announced that its entire product range has received the prestigious OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification. The company’s pigment and reactive dyes products, marketed under the brand names SunPrint and SunActive respectively, have been recognized for their adherence to the highest environmental standards.

This recent achievement now certifies Vipul Organics as a ZDHC Level 3 company, demonstrating their commitment to zero discharge of hazardous chemicals. In 2022, the company received its first OEKO-TEX certification, earning Level 1 qualifications for its pigments range. Now, in 2023, Vipul Organics stands among the select few global companies to receive the Level 3 certification.

The Level 3 certification represents the most stringent test, involving an on-site assessment of chemical hazard capabilities and compliance with Level 1 and Level 2 requirements. This includes analyzing the manufacturing processes, supported screening, and reviewing Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for relevant MRSL (Manufacturing of Restrictive Substance List) product information.

Vipul Organics distinguishes itself as the only company with a complete range of over 170+ products certified for Level 3 Pigment Dispersions for textile printing under the SunPrint brand. This places them at the forefront of the pigments category, showcasing their commitment to producing eco-friendly solutions. Additionally, the company’s 100+ products for reactive dyes, marketed under the brand name c, have also achieved Level 3 certification.

Mihir V Shah, Executive Director of Vipul Organics, expressed his pleasure at the certification and stated that the company remains dedicated to continuously improving its product line and manufacturing processes to achieve greater ecological sustainability. He believes that the OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT certification will solidify Vipul Organics’ position as the preferred partner for sustainable textile and garment manufacturers worldwide.
