India and the United Arab Emirates have formally begun CEPA negotiations

Goyal and Al Zeyoudi hope to conclude negotiations by December and sign the agreement in March 2022.
On Wednesday, Our Bureau India and the UAE formally began negotiations on the India-United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).
In a meeting in New Delhi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal agreed to hold the first round of CEPA negotiations on September 23-24.
