Schuh Corporation Prohibits Alpaca Wool

Footwear and appendage organization Genesco, which possesses the Schuh dealer chain, has prohibited the application of alpaca wool backing a reveal via animal rights organization PETA.

The PETA research into the biggest global confidentially owned alpaca farm, Mallkini in Peru, affirmed to build proof that laborers maltreated the animals while sheering them for wool.

Genesco earlier banned angora and mohair after previous PETA exposés. The organization now joins manufacturers which include Marks and Spencer, Next, New Look, Matalan, Uniqlo, Ted Baker, Esprit, and Valentino, in prohibiting alpaca.
