Belgium’s Ronse Leading inventor in textile finishes, Devan Chemicals, is pleased to announce that Allergy UK has certified their BI-OME® NTL MG technology. This acknowledgment highlights how well BI-OME® NTL MG works to defend against dust mites.

This accreditation was given after thorough independent testing by Allergy UK, the premier organization in the UK for helping individuals with allergies. Those who have allergies to house dust mites have been shown to benefit from the BI-OME® NTL MG technology. A third-party lab has additionally verified this in accordance with French norm NF G 39-011.

A biobased, safe anti-dust mite and antibacterial technology is called BI-OME® NTL MG. It ensures that all textiles, including mattresses, pillowcases, quilts, and mattress covers, are as fresh and hygienic as possible.

A special combination of margosa oil and linseed oil is found in BI-OME® NTL MG. Flax seeds are the source of linseed oil, which has antimicrobial qualities that support long-term freshness, and margosa oil, which has dust mite-repelling qualities.

After agreeing to a license agreement with Allergy UK, Devan’s customers will now be able to use the Allergy UK logo on their goods that use BI-OME® NTL MG technology. This enables producers to provide consumers looking for items that assist in managing allergies an additional benefit.

“We are overjoyed to have our BI-OME® NTL MG technology accredited by Allergy UK,” stated Richard Moyle, Devan Chemicals’ Business Unit Manager for Anti-Microbial and Odor Control Products. This honor demonstrates our commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions that enhance the lives of those who suffer from allergies. Our technology supports our dedication to health and wellbeing while also improving the comfort and safety of commonplace items.”
