A family-owned textile rental business that is now in its fourth generation has plans to make an investment of $15 million in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, the exact location where it was established in 1929.
Construction on the new 55,000-square-foot commercial laundry facility that Loop Linen Service plans to build at the crossroads of U.S. 90 and Louisiana 18 is slated to begin in the early years of the year 2025, according to the company’s projections. During the relocation to the new location, the company will keep all 125 of its current employees on staff. According to Louisiana Economic Development, it is anticipated that the project will result in the creation of an additional 48 indirect jobs in the region.
