Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is offering investors tailor-made benefits and mega projects as the state prepares for the Global Investment Summit 2023, which will be held in Visakhapatnam on March 3 and 4. Reddy discusses the state’s industrial road map, key sectors it is focusing on, and its emphasis on sustainable development in an interview with Shine Jacob. “The Policy would aim to increase manufacturing’s contribution to GSDP from 9.95% (2013-14) to 15%, and industries’ contribution from 20.7% to 25%,” he said.
Mr. Naidu stated that the government would promote industrial clusters and industrial townships such as Sri City, as well as ag and food processing, pharma, biotechnology, textile and apparel, electronics and information technology.
