Engineering Students at DKTE Institute in India to receive Robotics and Automation Training from ITA Group and APS GmbH

On the sidelines of the ITME expo, at the DKTE booth, ITA Group & APS GmbH and DKTE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). 100 students from different engineering programmes at the DKTE Institute will receive robotics and automation training from the ITA Group and APS GmbH. The students will get advanced expertise in the fields of robotics and automation, which are now a part of the manufacturing industry, and be prepared to enter the workforce. Modularly planned courses will make it possible for students to gradually qualify and enhance their knowledge and skills.

Truetzschler India and the Rossari Biotech group of enterprises are jointly sponsoring the specialised training courses for the 100 engineering students of DKTE. Dr. Schuerenkraemer and Mr. Thomson of the Truetzschler group, as well as Mr. Sunil Chari and Mr. Edward Menezes of the Rossari Biotech group, have our gratitude for their kind gestures.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Prakash Datwade, a member of the Governing board, and Prof. Dr. Thomas Gries, Chairman of the ITA group, on the margins of ITME 2022. (DKTE). Mr. Gurudas Aras, Strategy Advisor-India, ITA Group; Dr. Mohit Raina, MD, Raina Industries; Mr. Sunil Patil, a member of the DKTE board; and Prof. U J Patil, together with other DKTE faculty members and students, were also in attendance.

Robotics, sensor technology, information technology, and communication technology are the focus areas of APS GmbH, a German company situated in Aachen. It is a component of the RWTH Aachen University-affiliated ITA Group, a German Research Institute. DKTE is a renowned, top engineering school located in Ichalkaranji, India.
