Zenitex’s Viral Desai Wins National Energy Conservation Award

Zenitex, one of India’s most awarded textile companies for sustainability performance, has been honoured with the Best Performing Unit Award in the Textile (Small Unit) sector at the National Energy Conservation Award (NECA) 2025. The recognition was conferred upon Viral Sudhir Desai, Founder of Zenitex and widely known as the “Greenman” for his longstanding commitment to environmental stewardship.

The award ceremony, held on the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day, took place in New Delhi in the august presence of the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, who graced the event as Chief Guest.

This achievement marks Viral Desai’s third consecutive Golden Trophy under NECA and his sixth National Energy Conservation Award overall, underscoring Zenitex’s sustained excellence and leadership in energy efficiency and conservation within India’s textile manufacturing sector.
