Yarn Expo Spring 2026 to Feature 600+ Exhibitors from 12 Countries in Shanghai

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 will take place from 11–13 March 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Shanghai, China. The event will host more than 600 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions, presenting a wide range of yarn and fibre products across dedicated sourcing zones and industry programmes.

More than 600 exhibitors from 12 countries and regions will participate in Yarn Expo Spring 2026, scheduled from 11–13 March 2026 in Hall 8.2 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) in Shanghai, China. The fair will occupy 27,000 sqm and present a broad selection of yarns and fibres for international buyers and industry professionals.

Exhibitors will represent 12 countries and regions, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Japan, and the United States, which are participating as new exhibiting countries this year. Additional suppliers will come from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and Vietnam.

The exhibition will include an International Zone and seven product-focused zones, where suppliers will present products such as eco-friendly cotton yarns, recycled fibres, regenerated materials, and other yarn and fibre innovations. The event will also feature a programme of forums and trend showcases for industry participants.

Prior to the event, Ms Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, commented:

Product zones and sourcing areas

Most exhibition areas will be organised by product category to support targeted sourcing by buyers.

International Zone:
More than 70 exhibitors will present yarn and fibre products from global suppliers. Participants include Cotton Council International (USA), NORGIIS Group LLC (UK), Toray Industries Inc (Japan), and XDD Textile Company Limited (Vietnam).

Within this area, the India Pavilion, organised by the Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (Texprocil), will include nearly 30 exhibitors. Products on display will include cotton carded, combed and compact yarns, viscose, synthetic yarns, recycled and organic/BCI yarns, spandex, and blended yarns such as polyester-cotton.

Cashmere Yarn Zone:
This section will present pure cashmere and cashmere-blend yarns for knitwear and apparel production. Exhibitors include Shandong Dashing Cashmere Products and Zhejiang Sunyouo Industrial.

Chemical Fibre Zone:
More than 230 Chinese fibre manufacturers will display developments in chemical fibre production. Participating companies include Fujian Cyclone Technology, Shenghong Group, and Sinopec Group. Anhui Xinyuan Biotechnology will present bio-based polylactic acid (PLA) fibres, described as biodegradable fibres with characteristics including antibacterial properties, moisture management, low static, and UV resistance.

Fancy Yarn Zone:
More than 150 companies will introduce seasonal yarn collections. Exhibitors include Ease Loong Tech, Jiangsu New Victor Industrial, and Yulin Yuefang Bleaching and Dyeing, which specialises in yarn dyeing and bleaching techniques.

Green Linen Yarn, Silk Yarn and Quality Wool Yarn Zones:
More than 30 companies will present products in wool, silk, linen, and blended yarn categories. Participants include Zhejiang Tongwei Textile, Hubei Jinghua Textile Group, and Shengzhou Dingshun Silk.

Natural Cotton Yarn Zone:
More than 80 spinning companies will showcase cotton yarn products using different spinning technologies and yarn weights. Exhibitors include Linqing Sanhe Textiles Group, Shandong Weiqiao Textile Technology, and Wuhu Fuchun Dye and Weave.

Industry programmes and trend presentations

The event will also include a series of industry forums and trend displays.

China Yarns Fashion Trends will present forecasts for future yarn fashion directions.

The Enterprise Product Launch sessions will provide a platform for companies and industry associations to introduce new products, including presentations from Sateri Group.

The New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum will bring together academics, industry executives, and experts to discuss fibre innovation, sustainability, and functional materials.

Visitors will also be able to view the Tongkun · China Fibre Fashion Trend 2026/2027 Show, which highlights developments in domestic high-tech fibres and related applications.

Yarn Expo Spring 2026 is organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT. The event will take place alongside Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Spring Edition, Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles – Spring Edition, CHIC, and PH Value.

Upcoming related events include Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen from 9–11 June 2026 in Shenzhen (Futian), and Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition together with Yarn Expo Autumn from 25–27 August 2026 in Shanghai.
