Whistling Woods International’s Design Conclave 2025 unites 400+ creative minds and industry pioneers to foster next-generation talent in design, animation, and fashion.

Whistling Woods International (WWI), India’s leading institute for Film, Communication, and Creative Arts, successfully hosted Design Conclave 2025, reinforcing its commitment to bridging academic learning with real-world creative practice. The two-day conclave brought together over 400 aspiring designers, exploring emerging opportunities across Animation, Game Design, Visual Communication, and Fashion & Costume Design.

Conceptualized as a platform that fuses education with experiential learning, the WWI Design Conclave emphasized critical thinking, creative innovation, and industry readiness. Through engaging panels, live workshops, and interactive lab sessions, participants gained first-hand exposure to evolving workflows, cutting-edge technologies, and future-forward design methodologies.

The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers from the animation, gaming, and design sectors, sharing insights on storytelling, technology-driven creativity, and the role of design in shaping cultural narratives.

For Animation & Game Design, students interacted with:

  • Munjal B. Shroff, Co-founder, Graphiti Studios & Chairman, FICCI AVGC-XR Forum
  • Vaibhav Chavan, Founder, Underdogs & creator of the game Mukti
  • Veerendra Patil, Founder, Zebu Animation, who detailed the creative process of adapting Suppandi for the screen
  • Pradeep Kumar, Associate Director, Laqshya Digital, who explored visual development in AAA games

For Visual Communication Design, insights were shared by:

  • Geetaa Bhatt, VP – Product Experience & Brand Design, CleverTap
  • Jyotshna Kalita, Founder, Halcyon Media & Vistar Content Studio
  • Rukhmini Bhatia, Visual Arts Educator & Curriculum Designer

For Fashion Design, students attended an interactive session with Kyara Coelho, professional runway model and emcee, on mastering runway presence and modeling techniques.

Hands-on workshops formed the heart of the conclave, including:

  • Character-Driven World-Building – Tanay Vaibhav
  • Animating Inanimate Objects (Stop Motion) – Akshita Tyagi
  • Card Game and Character Design: Guns, Glory & Guts
  • CUT.COLLAGE.CREATE! and CRAFTING LIKE MATISSE! collage workshops
  • CLO 3D digital draping sessions for fashion students

Beyond sessions, the event featured portfolio reviews, student showcases, film screenings, and design challenges, fostering a collaborative environment of experimentation and creativity.
