New bonded lingerie range features Cool Touch fabric and seamless construction for warm-weather wear

Premium Japanese lingerie brand Wacoal India has introduced new Bonded Styles under its existing Cool Comfort Collection. The latest addition focuses on fabric technology and construction designed for use in warm and humid conditions.

The newly launched Bonded Styles expand the brand’s Cool Comfort Collection, incorporating features aimed at enhancing comfort during summer. The collection uses Cool Touch fabric technology, which is designed to reduce skin temperature by 2–3°C under humid conditions.

The product line includes a padded, non-wired T-shirt bra intended for everyday wear. The design uses bonded, seam-free construction to create a smooth finish under clothing. The structure is developed to provide a close fit while maintaining breathability throughout the day.

Key features of the collection include broader wings for additional side support and a seamless silhouette. The design approach focuses on minimizing visible lines while maintaining functionality for extended wear.

The Cool Comfort Bonded Bra is positioned for multiple use cases, including daily wear, workwear, and occasion dressing. The product is available in Beige, Black, and Purple Ash colour options, with sizes ranging from S to XXL. The maximum retail price is ₹1,999.

The collection follows a pastel-inspired colour palette aligned with seasonal preferences. Distribution will take place through exclusive brand outlets, large-format stores, the official website, and other e-commerce platforms.

Founded in 1946 in Japan, Wacoal expanded internationally across Asia in the 1970s, the United States in 1985, and Europe in 1990. The brand entered India in December 2015. Its product portfolio includes bras, panties, shapewear, and sleepwear, with a focus on fit and product design.

The company operates with trained consultants to assist customers with measurements and product selection. In India, it has 18 Exclusive Brand Outlets and over 40 Large Format Stores across cities including Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Chennai. The brand is also present in more than 80 Multi-Brand Outlets across 20 cities and maintains an online presence through its website and other e-commerce platforms.
