Vipul Organics’ AdiMem Begins Commercial Membrane Sales from Gujarat Facility

Company targets 25% topline contribution from membrane solutions within three years

Vipul Organics Limited (BSE: VIPULORG / 530627) has announced the commencement of commercial sales of membranes through its unit, AdiMem Technologies. The development follows its earlier showcase at IFAT India 2025 and marks the transition from pilot operations to full-scale production. The manufacturing operations are based at the company’s Sayakha facility in Gujarat.

The company is moving from pilot operations to full-scale manufacturing of Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Ultrafiltration (UF) membranes at its Sayakha, Gujarat facility. The production is based on proprietary Reverse Phase Transition technology, enabling indigenous manufacturing of membranes.

AdiMem Technologies supplies membranes along with integrated solutions including Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and pre-treatment systems for sectors such as chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The Sayakha unit incorporates manufacturing, rolling, quality control, and performance testing infrastructure to support production and application requirements.

According to an IMARC Group report, India’s membrane separation technology market is projected to grow at an 11.52% CAGR, increasing from USD 1.34 billion in 2026 to USD 2.7 billion by 2033. The growth is attributed to Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) mandates, the Namami Gange programme, and industrial water recycling demand. A ChemAnalyst report indicates that Reverse Osmosis demand is expected to reach 28 million units by FY2030, reflecting a growth rate of approximately 10% CAGR, while Ultrafiltration and Nanofiltration membranes are seeing increased use in pharmaceutical effluent treatment.

Vipul Organics has stated that membrane revenues are expected to contribute to its overall financial performance, with a target of 25% of topline revenue from membrane and membrane-based solutions within three years. The company is also aiming to participate in the India filtration market, which is projected to reach USD 6.33 billion by 2033.

AdiMem’s product range includes MF/UF/NF/RO membranes, tubular and hollow fibre configurations, and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems. The company states that these products are manufactured domestically.

Vipul Organics also highlighted its sustainability measures, including 98% effluent recycling, ZDHC Level 3 certification, and ISO 14001 compliance. The membranes produced are designed to enable up to 90% water recovery across applications.

Commenting on the development, Mr. Vipul P. Shah, Managing Director, Vipul Organics Limited, said, “We are happy to announce that commercial sales of AdiMem products and solutions have now begun. Our Sayakha expansion will scale up our high-performance membranes and full solutions, reinforcing India’s sustainability drive. From pigments (10,000 TPA expansion) to membranes, this strategic move reduces import reliance on China-dominant supply chains and opens access to the global USD 350 billion market.”

The expansion is supported by a Rights Issue aimed at scaling operations at the Sayakha facility. Vipul Organics has projected growth in FY2027, supported by an estimated annual demand increase of 12–15% in the chemical membrane segment.
