Vietnam Gears Up for VIATT 2026 with Expanded Exhibitor Lineup

Vietnam’s government is working to sustain the textile industry as a vital export sector by promoting sustainable, high-quality, and globally competitive product development. The sector continues to demonstrate resilience, with exports reaching USD 17.58 billion in the first five months of 2025, reflecting a 9% increase over the same period in 2024. With Vietnam also serving as a key importer of textiles and machinery, international collaboration is essential to strengthening its growing industry chain. This demand explains the strong exhibitor response for the third edition of the Vietnam International Trade Fair for Apparel, Textiles and Textile Technologies (VIATT), scheduled for 26–28 February 2026 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC).

The Vietnamese government’s textile strategy emphasizes a circular economy model, building a complete domestic value chain, expanding international integration, and developing strong local and global brands. VIATT’s expansion reflects this vision, with the 2026 edition set to increase its show floor by 20% following rising participation in 2025.

The fair aims to boost the domestic fashion sector, upgrade technology, enhance sustainability, and expand technical textiles—creating a unique platform for international exhibitors to capture opportunities in Vietnam and ASEAN while enabling local players to attract global buyers.

Confirmed Exhibitors Across Three Sectors:

  • Apparel Fabrics & Fashion: Notable participants include Thomas Mason by Albini 1876 and Drago SpA from Italy; Japanese exhibitors Murata Machinery Ltd, Yagi & Co Ltd, and Tamurakoma & Co Ltd; and other global names such as IDOLE Trading, Alumo AG, and Thomas Clifford Ltd.
  • Home & Contract Textiles: Exhibitors include CoolisT Life Technology Co Ltd, Hangzhou Huafang Fabric Co Ltd, and Hangzhou Suntek Textile Co Ltd, reflecting growing demand fueled by urbanization, rising incomes, and a strong tourism sector.
  • Technical Textiles & Technologies: Featured participants include Sarex Chemicals, UltraTech Asia Ltd with its EverShield® protection, and AiDLab, showcasing its AI-powered WiseEye inspection technology.

Prof Calvin Wong, CEO & Centre Director of AiDLab, noted at the previous edition: “The industry is eager for innovations, particularly AI. Our inspection system attracted strong interest, especially from Vietnam’s textile mills and garment manufacturers. We met several potential partners at the show.”

Sustainability Focus
Aligned with Vietnam’s commitment to building a circular economy and adopting green energy, VIATT 2026 will again feature the Econogy Hub for sustainable suppliers and Econogy Talks for discussions on eco-friendly practices. Exhibitors such as Covation Biomaterials LLC with Sorona® and Stylem Takisada-Osaka Co Ltd will highlight sustainable supply chain solutions, supported by the Econogy Check verification system.

Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE), VIATT 2026 will take place from 26–28 February 2026.
